hi, i downloaded these material but when i try to importet them it says, “invalid materials” in some of them,. why is that?

Could be you are using an older version of 3ds max as the used for creating the material.

i’m encountering the same prob..i can only guess that there are some damaged files, since some of them actually worked with my Sketchup 8.0 and VRAY..
